Chhorii Movie Review: Some people love watching horror movies. Such people feel pleasure in panic. It is this joy that entertains them. In back in time, only thriller films were made in the name of horror.
In the recent past, a lot of space is being given to the scripts of the most neglected horror films in the Hindi film industry. Many big stars are now putting their hands in horror-comedy genre films.
From Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, and Yami Gautam’s film ‘Bhoot Police’ recently released on the OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar, to Taapsee Pannu and Vijay Sethupathi’s film ‘Annabel Rathore’, films are of the horror genre.
Earlier, actress Anushka Sharma’s film ‘Pari’, Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Lakshmi’, Rajkumar’s film ‘Stree’, Vicky Kaushal’s film ‘Bhoot’ and Janhvi Kapoor’s film ‘Roohi’ were also very much liked by the audience.
A new film ‘Chhorii‘ made on the same lines is being streamed on Amazon Prime Video. It stars actors like Nushrat Bharucha, Meeta Vashisht, Rajesh Jais, Saurabh Goyal, and Pallavi Ajay is playing important roles in the movie.

Chhorii Movie Review
Chhorii Movie Review: In the film genre, there is often a tinge of thriller or comedy with horror, but in horror films, social issues have been rarely seen so strongly.
Nusrat Bharucha’s film ‘Chhorii’ does this work very well.
However, its subject is very old. Over the decades, many films have been made on topics like gender equality, women empowerment, and feticide. In the 21st century, women are walking shoulder to shoulder with men in most places.
In such a situation, it is meaningless to expect its success by making a film on this subject, but this film has proved it false with excellent filming, direction, and acting.
This dialogue of the film ‘Woman is the biggest enemy of woman’ has been heard many times. But it is said that the value of dialogue varies according to the person delivering it.
Gabbar Singh had only asked ‘How many men were there.’ It is a matter of saying and listening, otherwise, it is a very simple line, but this dialogue became so popular that even today it is on people’s tongues.
Similarly, the subject of the story of the film Chhorii is old, but its treatment is so great that you cannot take your eyes off it till the end. The amazing performances of Nushrat Bharucha and Mita Vashisht cannot be ignored in this.
Nusrat Bharucha, who was not seen in films for almost two years, was last seen in the film ‘Azeeb Dastan’. Her struggle is visible in her acting. Otherwise, Nusrat, who has acted in a religious serial like ‘Santoshi Maa’, will work in a heroine-oriented film today, no one can even imagine.
But she proved that bets can be made on her first with her strong performance in the film ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ and later in the film ‘Dream Girl’.
She has maintained the trust of the filmmakers in the film Chhorii by putting in her hard work. Meeta Vashisht has also left a deep impression on the character of Bhanno Devi.
Chhorii Movie Review: Overall, ‘Chhorii’ is a thrilling film from the point of view of entertainment.
