RRR Postponement: “Inspite of our relentless efforts, some situations are beyond our control. As many Indian states are closing theatres, we are left with no choice but to ask you to hold on to your excitement. We promised to bring back The Glory of Indian Cinema, and at the right time, WE WILL,” said the makers on their official Twitter handle.
The movie has been postponed due to the spike in Covid-19 cases all across the country which left the creators with no other better decision than pushing the release forward.
They haven’t yet confirmed the next release date of RRR featuring Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead role. The movie was about to hit the theater on 7th January 2022 and the creators were promoting the movie at their best to make the most out of the film.
But the latest rise in covid cases left them with no better decision and they decided to postpone the movie as of now.
“Keeping the best interests of all the involved parties in mind, we are forced to postpone our film. Our sincere thanks to all the fans and audience for their unconditional love. #RRRPostponed #RRRMovie,” the makers tweeted through the official handle of the film.
Movie Business analyst Taran Adarsh had an update
Recently, Taran Adarsh announced that the movie will hit the theater on its scheduled date and he wrote, “#Xclusiv… BREAKING NEWS… ‘RRR’ VERY MUCH ON 7 JAN 2022… SS RAJAMOULI OFFICIAL STATEMENT TO ME… No postponement. #SSRajamouli #JrNTR #RamCharan #RRR #RRRMovie #RRRPreReleaseEvent #RoarOfRRRInKerala” on his official Twitter handle. But it turns out that not even the creators were sure about the RRR Postponement.
As in the official synopsis, RRR is a fictional story. It will feature two legendary revolutionaries, Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju. We have already seen the look of NTR as Komaram Bheem. So, it will be great once Ram Charan’s looks get revealed.
